Your Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and develop hourly kitchen staff to ensure a high-performing team.
- Oversee the security, maintenance, and organization of the kitchen, including all equipment, food, and supply inventories.
- Implement and maintain energy conservation initiatives within the kitchen.
- Ensure full compliance with state and federal health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Uphold high standards for food storage, rotation, quality, and presentation.
- Balance and optimize quality, productivity, cost control, safety, and team morale.
- Drive continuous process improvement and collaborate across departments to implement company-wide initiatives.
- Manage departmental performance metrics and provide regular updates to the Chef de Cuisine.
- Prioritize and resolve operational challenges as they arise.
- Conduct thorough accident investigations and report findings to management as required.

- Highly organized and able to multitask, including recipe tracking and team productivity management.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to input data and navigate kitchen systems.
- A clear communicator, comfortable taking direction and relaying information to your team.
- Adaptable to working in varying kitchen temperatures (30º – 70º).
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; culinary certification from the American Culinary Federation preferred.
- 1-3+ years of experience in a commissary kitchen or high-volume food production environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications.
- English fluency required; bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
