    Essential Functions:

    • Supervise Kitchen Operations: Assist in overseeing daily kitchen activities, assigning tasks, and setting deadlines to ensure timely and efficient workflow.

    • Ensure Safety & Sanitation: Promote and enforce proper food handling procedures, maintain safe practices, and comply with HACCP guidelines.

    • Assist with Menu & Inventory Management: Support menu planning, inventory control, and supply management to maintain smooth operations.

    • Maintain Cost Control & Quality Standards: Ensure service excellence and adherence to quality standards to maximize sales and profitability.

    • Ensure Compliance: Uphold company, franchise, and regulatory standards and procedures, ensuring all food products meet brand and quality expectations.

    • Provide Problem-Solving Support: Act as a resource for resolving complex kitchen-related issues.

    • Staff Management & Development: Assist in hiring, promotions, and other personnel decisions, while providing coaching, performance reviews, and development opportunities.

    • Foster Positive Team Environment: Encourage open communication, implement associate incentive programs, and manage employee relations professionally.

    • Deliver Outstanding Customer Service: Ensure proper staff training and support associates in providing excellent customer experiences and maintaining high-quality food standards.

    Minimum Qualifications, Skills, & Experience:

    • Education: High School Diploma or GED required; culinary training preferred; brand certification is a plus.

    • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in kitchen operations and staff supervision.

    • Certification: Serve Safe Management certification required.

    • Leadership & Team Management: Strong delegation, coaching, and motivational skills with the ability to drive change and resolve issues.

    • Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, manage projects efficiently, and maintain operational effectiveness.

    • Communication: Must be able to read, understand, and communicate instructions, policies, and interact comfortably with individuals.
