Duties

Consistently demonstrate professionalism, positivity, and a fun attitude with both guests and team members.

Assist in preparing ingredients and food items according to prep lists, par levels, and recipe standards.

Apply a variety of cooking techniques to create menu items quickly and accurately, including chopping, grilling, roasting, sautéing, frying, and more—while coordinating with other stations as needed.

Keep prep and cooking areas clean, organized, and safe at all times.

Maintain orderly and sanitary storage areas including refrigerators, cooler drawers, ovens, dry storage, and prep areas.

Provide training on the safe and proper use of kitchen equipment and cleaning supplies; promptly report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.

Support recruitment efforts by helping to attract top talent and creating a positive candidate experience; assist in hiring and retaining team members.

Contribute to partner development through coaching and technical skill-building, ensuring excellence in all kitchen operations.

Communicate daily priorities, tasks, and feedback clearly to the team.

Help manage food and labor costs, and contribute to achieving store budget goals.

Coach and support the kitchen team to consistently deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Follow and uphold all food safety and handling protocols.
What We’re Looking For

3+ years of culinary experience (strong potential with less experience will also be considered!).

Must hold or be eligible for valid local/state Food Handler certifications.

Physically able to walk and stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, bend and stretch frequently, and lift up to 50 lbs.
