Job Functions & Responsibilities:

Support senior leadership by developing and managing basic departmental responsibilities.

Serve as a liaison between all departments within the culinary division and other hotel departments.

Supervise food preparation and cooking, ensuring consistency and quality.

Create and implement menu items in line with Hyatt’s brand standards.

Plan and coordinate special events and holiday functions.
-
Manage hourly kitchen employees, including scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, and hiring.

Lead and mentor the team to achieve exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction.

Monitor food production, ordering, cost control, and quality.
-
Ensure proper safety and sanitation practices for kitchen facilities and equipment.
Qualifications:

Comprehensive knowledge of all kitchen operations.

Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.

Experience with training, basic financial management, and customer service.

Proficient in general computer applications.

A passion for exceeding guest expectations in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to produce a consistent, high-quality product in a timely manner.

Strong training and communication skills.
-
Culinary education and/or at least 4 years of progressive on-the-job training and hotel experience.

Geographic and schedule flexibility preferred.

Strong leadership and coaching skills to enhance team performance and satisfaction.
