About the Opportunity
Verbo Interpreting Services is seeking Spanish interpreters in Betteravia, CA and surrounding areas for in-person interpretation assignments. This is a flexible part-time opportunity where you can set your own schedule and receive assignments in advance—days to weeks ahead. Our company provides services across Southern California, but current demand is focused on Betteravia.

Key Responsibilities

Provide accurate and professional oral interpretation between English and Spanish

Arrive on time and dressed appropriately (casual to formal depending on assignment)

Follow all assignment-specific instructions and company training guidelines

Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times

Report attendance and job completion using designated methods (email, webform, etc.)

Communicate availability and respond to job offers promptly (same day)
Requirements

Full fluency in English and Spanish

Minimum 1–2 years of interpretation experience (medical interpreting preferred)

Familiarity with basic medical terminology (e.g., body parts, symptoms, conditions)

At least 3 professional reference letters from institutions you’ve worked with

Valid California ID and legal authorization to work in the U.S.

High school diploma or GED

Reliable transportation (interpretations are in-person)

Proof of city permits or business license, if applicable

Willingness to undergo basic training if needed
