About the Role: Special Projects Associate

Join a small, high-impact team that works directly with the C-suite, GMs, and senior stakeholders to deliver business-critical projects. This role is for you if you’re excited to challenge the banking status quo and drive transformation across Monzo’s most strategic growth areas—from launching new products to scaling business lines, exploring M&A, or expanding internationally.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own planning and execution of high-priority, cross-functional projects

  • Analyse data, financials, customer needs, and market trends to inform strategy

  • Track KPIs and success metrics to measure project performance

  • Partner with teams across product, data, operations, marketing, and legal

  • Create clear, compelling presentations and reports for leadership

  • Identify risks, propose solutions, and drive operational improvements

Interview Process

  1. Recruiter Call – 30 minutes

  2. Initial Call – 30 minutes

  3. Take-Home Task

  4. Final Interviews:

    • Two live case interviews (60 mins each)

    • One behavioural interview (60 mins)

 Typical process time: 2–3 weeks (flexible)
