About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Specialty Doctor to join our expanding North Wales Vascular Network team, based at Glan Clwyd Hospital. You will work closely with our Consultant Vascular Surgeons and contribute to the delivery of a modern, patient-centred vascular service to approximately 700,000 residents across North Wales.
This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a forward-thinking department with access to a state-of-the-art Hybrid Theatre and Interventional Radiology facilities.
Key Responsibilities:

Support Consultant Vascular Surgeons in the delivery of safe, high-quality vascular care

Participate in consultant-supervised clinics (max. 10 patients per session), seeing a mix of new, follow-up, general, and specialist cases

Contribute to the continued development of a high-performing vascular service across a hub-and-spoke model

Collaborate with Interventional Radiologists, nursing teams, and other multidisciplinary staff

Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with NHS standards
What We’re Looking For:

GMC registration with a license to practise

Completion of Part B MRCS
-
Experience working within the UK/NHS system is preferred
-
Strong team player with a positive attitude and long-term career outlook in vascular surgery

Commitment to personal and professional development

The North Wales Vascular Network is structured with Glan Clwyd Hospital as the tertiary centre, and spoke services at Ysbyty Gwynedd (Bangor) and Wrexham Maelor Hospital
