Responsibilities:
Manage project finances, including cost ledgers, cash flow, billing, estimates, and cash position reports. Ensure compliance with DCAA regulations, manage audits, and prepare rate proposals. Support accounting policies aligned with federal contracting. Conduct project cost reconciliation, monitor indirect rates, prepare incurred cost submissions, and manage contract close-outs. Assist with financial audits, benefits administration, insurance renewals, and workers’ compensation. Develop financial models for improved reporting and analysis. Perform related accounting and financial duties.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of project and cost accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in Costpoint and Excel. Familiarity with Insight Software/Spreadsheet Server.
- In-depth knowledge of FAR, CAS, and DCAA compliance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in government contracting.
- Must be a “U.S. Person” as defined by export control regulations.
