Position Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Accountant responsible for overseeing and preparing financial data, assisting with the preparation of financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate fixed asset records and related depreciation.

Book journal entries for fixed assets, including depreciation, disposals, and capitalizations.

Manage capital requests across all Cirtec sites.

Prepare fixed asset records for annual audits and tax provisions.

Maintain lease records and handle ASC 842 lease accounting.

Prepare and review monthly journal entries and reconciliations.

Administer monthly operations and the company-wide close process.

Ensure timely completion of close-related tasks.

Assist with month-end closing, reporting analysis, and audit support.

Assist with 401k and workers’ comp audits.

Cross-train team members to ensure backup support during absences.

Provide mentorship and support to other team members.

Assist the Corporate Accounting Manager, Corporate Controller, and CFO with ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
Must Have:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
-
At least 5 years of business experience in accounting (public accounting preferred).

Ability to handle and maintain confidential information appropriately.

Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.

Intermediate accounting knowledge.

ERP experience required.

Advanced Excel skills for complex data management.
