About the Role:
As a key member of our Private Capital Administration team, you’ll provide crucial accounting, analytical, and financial reporting services for diverse private equity funds (venture capital, buyout, real estate, private debt, etc.). You’ll be a technical expert, a go-to resource for your team and partners, and play a vital role in ensuring accurate client and investor reporting. This is a hybrid role, offering a blend of office and home-based work.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and finalize client and investor activity reports with precision.
- Serve as a technical accountingSubject Matter Expert (SME) for the team and partners.
- Assist in the preparation and verification of external client and regulatory filings.
- Compile financial data for stockholder/investor reports.
- Research and interpret accounting developments, sharing insights with the team.
- Collaborate with partners to resolve discrepancies and address accounting inquiries.
- Conduct special analyses and projects, presenting findings to management.
- Mentor and support the development of team members.
What You’ll Bring:
- 3-4 years of private equity accounting experience coupled with a relevant business degree.
- A minimum of 3 years in client servicing or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of private equity administration, financial accounting, and reporting.
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulatory reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong overall PC skills.
- Experience with Investran is highly preferred.
- CPA accreditation and experience with Real Estate and/or Private Debt clients are a plus.
- Demonstrated teamwork, initiative, leadership, and flexibility.
Salary & Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $74,700 – $126,900 USD, reflecting a good faith estimate of base pay.
