Key Responsibilities

Drive the full DevOps lifecycle, focusing on automation across tools, pipelines, and processes.

Collaborate with architecture teams to design secure, scalable, and highly available cloud patterns.

Deploy and manage solutions across public clouds including AWS, IBM Cloud, and Azure.

Design cloud-agnostic architectures to support multi-cloud environments.
-
Develop automation for deployment, patching, disaster recovery, and configuration management.
-
Create infrastructure as code using tools like AWS CloudFormation and Terraform.
-
Support Kubernetes and Docker container pipeline processes.
-
Collaborate in agile environments to ensure seamless product delivery across cross-functional teams.

Act as the primary responder for critical (P0/P1) incidents in staging and production environments.

Guide automation practices, microservices deployment, and service modularity across development teams.

Mentor and train junior DevOps engineers.
-
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, providing root cause analysis and preventive solutions.

Write and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation.
-
Lead RCA, incident management, and risk analysis processes.
-
Provide proactive, on-call production support and ensure timely resolution within SLA requirements.

Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and DevOps best practices.

Perform other duties as needed.
Technical Competencies
-
Deep experience across the SDLC, with CI/CD tools and release management in cloud environments.

Hands-on with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS (EKS, EC2), and cloud orchestration.

Expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) using CloudFormation or Terraform.
-
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.

Experience with AMI/image management, AWS Config, and Systems Manager.

Knowledge of AWS organization management and multi-account strategies.
-
Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, and Python.

Strong understanding of Git/GitHub, version control strategies, and branching workflows.

Experience with network automation, including switch configuration, routing, and load balancing.

Solid background in secure, multi-tenant cloud environments and microservices architecture.
-
Experience migrating legacy systems to the cloud is a plus.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Minimum of 5 years designing and implementing automated enterprise solutions in cloud platforms.
