Key Responsibilities

• Design & Implement Compensation Programs – Develop salary structures, incentive plans, and policies to ensure competitive and equitable pay
• Market Research & Benchmarking – Analyze industry trends, participate in salary surveys, and refine compensation strategies
• Compensation Analysis & Reporting – Provide insights and data-driven recommendations to senior leadership
• Performance Management & Bonus Programs – Oversee annual salary reviews and incentive structures
• Compliance & Best Practices – Ensure alignment with federal and international labor laws and company policies
• Talent & Recruiting Support – Partner with HR and Talent Acquisition teams to address compensation-related matters
• Mergers & Acquisitions – Conduct compensation analyses and recommend integration strategies
• Training & Development – Educate managers and employees on compensation structures

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in a senior compensation role within a technology or high-growth startup
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel & Google Suite
• Expertise in Radford Global Compensation Database and compensation reporting
• Deep knowledge of compensation regulations, benchmarking, and job evaluation methodologies
• Experience working in AI, open-source, or data science-driven organizations is a plus
• Strong business acumen, ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills

Bonus Points For

• Experience with equity compensation & stock option plans
• Familiarity with HRIS systems and data visualization tools (Tableau, Rippling, etc.)
• Previous experience in a startup or high-growth organization
