Sr. Employee Relations Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic employee relations initiatives to foster a fair, respectful, and compliant workplace culture

  • Oversee employee relations policies, practices, and programs to align with organizational values and legal standards

  • Provide expert guidance on complex employee matters: performance management, investigations, disciplinary actions, accommodations, and organizational changes

  • Partner with legal counsel and HR leadership to ensure compliance with labor laws and mitigate legal risk

  • Conduct high-level HR investigations and provide actionable recommendations

  • Advise HR teams, managers, and leadership on employment law, policy interpretation, and best practices

  • Lead and deliver training programs to promote compliance, resolve conflicts, and improve employee experience

  • Develop employee relations metrics, reporting, and scalable strategies to enhance workplace culture

  • Support contract-specific HR operations, including policy deployment, team structuring, and compliance with government and client requirements

  • Travel to client sites as needed to support field operations and ensure consistent application of employee relations practices

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional HR management and employee relations experience

  • Expertise in federal and state employment laws, including Title VII, ADA, ADAAA, FMLA, and Service Contract Act (SCA) compliance

  • Experience in multi-state environments and government contracting

  • Proven experience leading high-level investigations and resolving complex employee issues

  • Strong ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally

  • Exceptional communication, judgment, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to influence across all levels of the organization and manage through ambiguity and change

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and documentation skills

  • Comfort working in fast-paced environments with competing priorities

Physical Demands

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and use standard office equipment

  • Occasional lifting up to 15 pounds

  • Ability to travel to client sites, navigating various environments as needed
