Job Overview
At TE Connectivity, you’ll collaborate with diverse teams and industries to create a safer, more connected, and sustainable world. We’re seeking a Senior Manager of Business Development to drive growth strategies for our Lighting and Precision Connections (LPC) sub-vertical, responsible for over $200M in annual turnover.
In this strategic leadership role, you’ll work with customers, partners, and internal teams to identify high-potential markets, shape go-to-market strategies, and define product opportunities that fuel long-term growth in the Connected Living space. You’ll report to the Senior Director and General Manager of LPC.
Key Responsibilities

Define and prioritize high-growth application areas through internal and external market analysis.

Develop and update a sustainable Application Focus Growth (AFG) model using teardown analysis, ecosystem mapping, and trend data.

Partner with sales, engineering, and product teams to execute share gain and go-to-market plans.

Support global new product introduction (NPI) prioritization and commercialization.

Engage directly with customers and executive stakeholders to identify new business pipelines.

Lead the creation of business cases, value propositions, and financial models to support strategy execution.

Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment with market needs and business objectives.

Maintain structured performance metrics for pipeline and revenue tracking.
Qualifications
Required:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Strategic Marketing, or Engineering.

Proven experience in corporate strategy or business development for an industrial manufacturer.

Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and executive presentation abilities.
-
Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort with ambiguity.

Ability to travel up to 25%.
Preferred:

Experience in connected living applications (e.g., lighting, smart cities, climate solutions, building automation, infrastructure management).

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $171,000 – $220,000 (subject to experience and location)
