Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition
Supermicro is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition to lead our recruiting efforts. In this critical role, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive talent strategies to identify, attract, and secure top-tier, diverse talent, directly contributing to Supermicro’s growth. This is a full-time, in-office position where your presence will be essential for collaboration and team activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
You will play a pivotal role in shaping our talent landscape by:
- Overseeing and guiding the recruiting team to ensure efficient, full-cycle recruitment activities.
- Developing and executing talent strategies to proactively identify and secure diverse top talent for Supermicro’s business growth.
- Managing all aspects of the recruitment process, including auditing job content, crafting job descriptions, screening, sourcing, and hiring.
- Cultivating a high-performing and engaged recruiting team capable of designing, implementing, and delivering effective talent strategies.
- Collaborating with business executives, leaders, and HR teams to understand staffing needs and foster proactive growth of talent pipelines through online and campaign sourcing.
- Ensuring the alignment of performance metrics with organizational objectives, utilizing them strategically and communicating results effectively.
- Evaluating and enhancing existing recruitment processes and procedures to optimize efficiency.
- Participating in employer branding initiatives and engaging in career fairs and networking events to attract top candidates.
- Staying abreast of changes in labor legislation and communicating relevant updates to ensure organizational compliance.
- Sharing best practices in recruiting and fostering continuous improvement across the team.
- Partnering with business leaders to translate their strategic priorities into actionable recruiting strategies.
- Working with managers and leadership teams to set clear goals and development plans, providing coaching and feedback to drive performance.
- Ensuring that Supermicro’s HR practices remain in compliance with Federal, State, and local employment laws and regulations.
Qualifications
We’re looking for a leader with a strong blend of HR and recruitment expertise, ideally within a fast-paced tech environment:
- 5+ years of HR experience, with prior experience in a tech company preferred and manufacturing experience a plus.
- 8+ years of experience managing a recruiting team and handling high-volume recruitment, with a strong preference for the tech industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or equivalent education and/or experience.
- Proven experience creating and implementing recruitment programs, university internship partnerships, and campus recruiting.
- Ability to work independently and resourcefully.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of management and candidates.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills to maintain high performance and develop future talent.
- Data-driven capability with the ability to use metrics to influence decisions.
- Experience delivering results in a fast-paced, innovative, and ambiguous environment.
- Must possess a strong sense of urgency and the ability to manage multiple positions simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and HR software; experience with SuccessFactors is a plus.
