As a Senior Tax Manager, you’ll play a key role in developing and executing our tax strategy, overseeing all aspects of tax operations, special projects, and initiatives. This is a highly visible position where you’ll partner with senior management and collaborate with finance and business leaders across our organization, with significant opportunities for growth.
Your Impact:
- Lead the preparation of quarterly and annual ASC 740 tax provisions using OneSource, SEC disclosures, and internal reporting.
- Proactively identify and resolve complex tax issues, providing technical guidance and supporting potential M&A activities.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of franchise, sales and use, and other indirect tax returns.
- Lead taxability assessments for new products and services and review commercial contracts from a tax perspective.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of all tax-related information.
- Manage the U.S. and Canadian tax compliance process, including the review and approval of all income, franchise, sales and use, and foreign tax returns.
- Oversee the maintenance of tax-related balance sheet accounts.
- Manage multiple workstreams, setting priorities, defining deliverables, and managing timelines.
- Identify and implement process enhancements and standardization opportunities.
- Develop, document, and ensure consistent adherence to tax policies and guidelines.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the tax strategy.
- Ensure SOX compliance and manage tax notices and audits.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and accounting standards, assessing their impact on the business.
- Resolve complex tax technical issues, identify risks and opportunities, and present practical recommendations.
- Lead negotiations with external advisors, vendors, and customers.
- Build strong relationships and foster a collaborative and open communication environment.
- Provide leadership and technical guidance to the tax team.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics (required).
- CPA, IRS EA, or Master’s degree in Taxation (required).
- 8+ years of progressive tax experience with a Big 4 firm or a medium-to-large publicly traded company, with a primary focus on ASC 740.
- 4+ years of relevant people management experience.
- Extensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP and strong practical application of ASC 740.
- Strong U.S. income, franchise, and sales and use tax compliance experience.
- Proven experience in solving complex tax technical matters, including in the context of M&A.
- Experience with U.S. international, Canadian cross-border, and foreign taxation (preferred).
- Experience in managing tax audits effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams and external advisors, and meet tight deadlines.

- Demonstrated ability to implement tax systems, tools, and process improvements.
- Proficiency in OneSource Tax Provision (preferred).
