Key Responsibilities

Human Resources Administration & Employee Experience (35%)

  • Serve as a trusted advisor on policies, benefits, payroll, and procedures.

  • Lead onboarding and offboarding, ensuring consistent and equitable experiences.

  • Partner with Finance and IT for smooth provisioning and de-provisioning.

  • Conduct exit interviews, synthesize feedback, and recommend improvements.

  • Draft and update policies aligned with organizational goals, compliance, and DEIAB principles.

HR Systems, Data, & Compliance (25%)

  • Maintain accuracy and integrity of HR systems (Sequoia One OS, Lattice, Lever).

  • Develop reporting dashboards supporting KPIs like headcount, turnover, and engagement.

  • Identify trends to guide leadership decisions.

  • Track compliance deadlines and advise leaders on risk areas.

Payroll, Benefits & Total Rewards (15%)

  • Partner with PEO on payroll and benefits administration.

  • Provide guidance on benefits and leave policies.

  • Lead annual open enrollment logistics.

  • Support compensation structures and total rewards planning.

Employee Engagement, Performance & Culture (15%)

  • Coordinate performance management cycles and equitable feedback processes.

  • Support career development and professional growth opportunities.

  • Partner on DEIAB initiatives and recognition programs.

Organizational Activities & Other Duties (10%)

  • Participate in team events, offsites, training, and ad hoc projects.

  • Maintain accurate records of time, expenses, and engagement.

  • Exemplify C.A.R.E. values in mission-aligned work.

Requirements & Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years in a senior People Operations or HR role.

  • 5+ years advising managers, navigating employee relations, and guiding complex employee decisions.

  • 3+ years operational HR experience (payroll, onboarding/offboarding, benefits, leave management).

  • 3+ years managing and coaching people.

  • Experience with DEIAB initiatives and equity-based programs.

  • Skilled at balancing operational excellence with strategic problem-solving.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, and judgment skills.

  • Experience in fully remote organizations preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with HR platforms: Sequoia One OS, Lattice, Lever.

  • Experience recruiting for B2B SaaS or healthcare technology organizations.
