The Opportunity:
As a Sr. Product Manager, you will evaluate business opportunities to define and optimize our product portfolio. This involves analyzing markets, trends, new technologies, customer needs, and the competitive landscape. You’ll leverage your understanding of our product capabilities and market position to create and expand our product and solution offerings. Collaborating closely with product development and customers, you will formulate product strategies, identify new opportunities, and develop project plans to meet customer needs and grow market share.
As The Sr. Product Manager, You Will:
- Participate in consumer research on product usage and performance.
- Meet with key US customers to identify product line needs.
- Lead planning and execution of product exhibits and demos for launches and press events.
- Summarize and analyze reports to identify strengths and weaknesses, reporting to NJ management and HQ.
- Participate in quarterly product roadmap committees to plan future product direction.
- Oversee the product lifecycle and collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, business managers, HQ) for commercial launch.
- Research the market and competitors, and analyze user feedback to define product vision and roadmap.
- Align the product with business goals and work with sales and marketing for product success.
- Utilize analytical skills to understand data, measure success, and make informed decisions.
- Track product performance and gather customer feedback for improvements.
- Establish pricing, promotion, and commercial positioning strategies based on market insights and competitive analysis.
- Provide product and market insights to stakeholders and communicate progress to senior leadership.
- Understand customer needs and translate them into technical requirements for the HQ team.
- Drive product claim strategy for features, innovations, and technology.
- Support creative development of new product assets, working with marketing and testing teams.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 10 years of experience in high-tech, competitive intelligence, product management, strategic marketing, or strategy/management consulting.
- Experience delivering complex websites or consumer electronics products.
- Mobile Application and/or start-up experience a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Additional Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Product Management/Marketing, Merchandising, Innovation Management, or Brand Management, including durable goods or home appliances.
- Experience in market research, competitive analysis, and defining product roadmaps.
Recruiting Range:
$150,000—$190,000 USD
