Role Overview
As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you’ll join Springbrook’s Cloud Operations Team to ensure the security, availability, and scalability of our software systems. This role blends DevOps principles with software engineering to design, automate, and optimize mission-critical cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement software to improve system reliability, scalability, and performance.

Lead problem-solving for critical services and automate issue prevention.

Implement response automation for non-critical conditions to enhance efficiency.

Develop standards, architectures, and security practices for cloud systems.

Conduct capacity planning, performance analysis, and demand forecasting.

Manage operations support, software releases, data updates, and OS patches.
-
Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for system success.

Mentor and guide junior engineers within the team.

Participate in on-call rotations and incident response teams.

Support compliance initiatives (PCI, SOC, NIST).
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

5+ years supporting cloud-native applications and infrastructure in Azure.

Expertise in Azure IaaS/PaaS, Terraform, Desired State Configuration, and Blueprints.

Proficiency with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and PowerShell scripting.

Strong knowledge of LAN network design, Windows/Linux environments, and Entra ID.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, TeamCity, GitHub Actions).

Familiarity with Git and Infrastructure as Code testing principles.

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications

DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) certification.

Experience with PCI DSS, yaml pipelines, ITSM, or Software Lifecycle Management.
