Sr. Software Engineer

Applied Systems / Wealthtrack are currently searching for a talented Senior Developer to join our Financial Management Solutions team. In this role, you will be responsible for new development and enhancements of our cloud-based CRM solutions for financial advisers and brokers using C#, SQL, ASP.Net and Web API. We use the best of Agile Scrum and Kanban methodologies to deliver software applications that revolutionize the global business of wealth and financial management. We are growing our team and are looking for dynamic developers at all levels who are passionate about delivering clean, well-written, enterprise scale financial management CRM applications developed using sound software principals.

What You’ll Do

• Ability to complete all Developer-level duties, including creating, maintain and modifying code, as well as developing and improving coding standards and procedures.
• Leading an Agile team to implement solutions which focus on re-use, extensibility, and maintainability.
• Working closely with peer Developers and QA team members to ensure that user stories are delivered as a team
• Working with peer Dev Ops staff to ensure application and technical infrastructure designs are compatible Understanding customer business objectives and suggesting strategies to meet them through technology innovation.
• Enhancing existing software by analysing and identifying areas for refactoring, optimisation and code clean up.
• Provide coaching / technical mentoring to others.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

We’re looking for someone who:

• Ability to operate as part of our hybrid working model.
• Ability to provide technical leadership & guidance to the team.

Your experience should include some or all of the following:

• At least 3/5 years’ experience in enterprise software development (can include placement year) with C# or Net , SQL Server and Visual
• Excellent problem-solving skills; strong logical reasoning and solution oriented
• Genuine passion for programming
• Ability to work with and lead others in a team-oriented environment.

Additionally, you may have:

• Ability to understand and create SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Experience or training with Agile Scrum or Kanban methodologies is a plus.
