Key Responsibilities:

Architect, develop, and support internal platform services and automation tools, with a strong focus on security, reliability, and scalability.

Lead the development of a high-throughput, real-time event streaming platform using Redpanda.

Maintain and enhance our data infrastructure based on Apache Airflow and Airbyte.

Build reusable frameworks, patterns, and tools to support self-service capabilities for internal engineering teams.

Promote modern software practices including CI/CD, observability, infrastructure as code, and automated testing.

Drive agile processes, ensuring delivery remains focused, iterative, and collaborative.

Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and offer architectural guidance.
Required Skills & Experience:

Extensive hands-on experience operating event streaming systems such as Redpanda or Apache Kafka in production environments.

Strong background in schema evolution, data contracts, and internal API design.

Expertise with orchestration tools like Airflow and data integration platforms like Airbyte.

Proficiency in Python and/or Go programming languages.

Solid experience managing containerized applications using Kubernetes and Helm.

Knowledge of AWS infrastructure and cloud-native architectural principles.

Ability to work collaboratively across teams with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

User-focused mindset with clear written and verbal communication.

Compensation:

Base Salary: $100,000 – $180,000 annually (based on skills, experience, and location)
