Senior Systems Administrator
About the Role
Viant is looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to join our Corporate IT team. In this role, you will design, implement, maintain, and support our IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and efficiency across critical systems. You will also serve as a key escalation point, providing technical guidance to support engineers.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, backups, storage, and networks.
- Analyze system logs to identify and resolve potential issues.
- Provide on-site and remote technical/network support as needed.
- Offer expert-level guidance to Support Engineers.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in systems administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows & Linux servers and virtualization technologies.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms and scripting (PowerShell, Python, Go).
- Experience with backup solutions, automation, and enterprise security.
- Advanced expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPOs.
- Familiarity with Windows 11 and MacOS environments.
