Inventory Control Analyst

As an Inventory Control Analyst, you will be crucial in the ongoing production of regular inventory reports, providing detailed analysis and handling ad-hoc inquiries. You will manage the semi-annual Physical Inventories, including setup, validation, and reporting. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for month-end close processes, manual inventory adjustments, and evaluating and improving inventory control systems.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports (e.g., Physical Inventory flash, daily receipts).
  • Perform ad-hoc data analysis for partner teams.
  • Manage inventory control reconciliations and reporting for auditors.
  • Oversee the semi-annual Physical Inventory process from setup to results.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing reporting procedures.
  • Participate in system implementations (requirements and testing).

What You’ll Need:

  • BS degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
  • Minimum 3+ years of related experience.
  • Strong analytical and PC skills (Microsoft Excel proficiency).
  • Ability to adapt, handle multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and accurately.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable handling confidential information.
  • PeopleSoft and Retek system knowledge (helpful).
  • Retail and inventory experience (a plus).

Base Salary Range: $68,640 – $97,450 (dependent on experience, skills, and location). This is part of a comprehensive total compensation package.
