Staff Accountant Opportunity
Join our team as a Staff Accountant and play a vital role in maintaining our financial integrity. You will be responsible for accurate financial record-keeping, preparing insightful reports, and ensuring adherence to accounting standards.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Preparing and maintaining accurate financial statements and reports.
- Supporting month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Reconciling bank statements and managing cash flow effectively.
- Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision.
- Assisting in the development and analysis of budgets and forecasts.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Supporting audits and tax preparation processes as needed.
- Collaborating with other departments to provide valuable financial insights and support.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing setting.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
- Advanced Excel skills for robust data analysis and financial modeling.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- CPA certification (a plus, but not mandatory).
