Job Summary:
Reporting to the Accounting Operations Manager, the Accountant will be integral to the month and year-end close process. Responsibilities include maintaining and reconciling balance sheet accounts, preparing financial statements, handling month-end entries, managing daily cash and bank reconciliations, and undertaking ad hoc projects.

Your Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing consolidated financial statements during month and year-end close.
- Prepare month-end journal entries.
- Facilitate and complete month-end support schedules.
- Reconcile daily incoming and outgoing cash.
- Conduct variance analysis.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Prepare and post entries for monthly and annual financial statements.
- Complete ad-hoc projects and analysis as directed.
What You’ll Need:
- Understanding and application of GAAP.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred: Knowledge and use of Great Plains.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
- 2-4 years of general accounting experience.
- Minimum 2 years of full-cycle close experience.
Company Details:

- Pay Rate: $75,000 – $85,000 per year (commensurate with experience, skills, and location).
