Position Overview
We are seeking a Staff Auditor to join our growing team. This hybrid position blends remote work with in-office collaboration and occasional client travel. You will play an important role in delivering high-quality audit and tax services to nonprofit clients while developing your professional expertise in a supportive, non-traditional firm environment.
Key Responsibilities

Participate in audits, reviews, and compilations from planning through issuance.

Perform audit testing procedures and walkthroughs of client controls.

Audit areas including cash, receivables, payables, payroll, deferred revenue, and liabilities.

Complete audit programs and document evidence supporting conclusions.

Prepare Form 990 tax returns for nonprofit clients.

Review your own work before supervisory review.

Adhere to firm and professional audit standards at all times.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

Licensure: CPA license or CPA exam eligibility required.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year in audit or accounting (nonprofit experience preferred).

Familiarity with audit engagement software (Caseware, Suralink) a plus.

Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Analytical thinker with problem-solving skills and a positive, client-focused attitude.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $70,000 – $75,000/year + bonus opportunities.
