Staff DevOps Engineer

What You’ll Do

As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable DevOps frameworks to support our software development and deployment efforts. Responsibilities include:

• Building and managing CI/CD pipelines and configuration management tools

• Maintaining and optimizing our cloud and data center infrastructure for high availability and scalability

• Integrating and configuring third-party services; managing build systems

• Conducting performance testing and troubleshooting to optimize system performance

• Managing and securing cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)

• Automating deployment processes using containers, Jenkins, Bamboo, and related tools

• Developing data-driven automation frameworks for deploying cloud and distributed software

• Creating and executing performance validation test cases

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure system quality and performance

• Supporting open source initiatives and maintaining CI/CD pipelines

• Performing other related duties as assigned

What You Bring

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise software development on Linux (C/C++)

  • OR 8+ years with an MS degree

  • OR 5+ years with a PhD

• 3+ years working in Agile development environments

• Strong expertise in:

  • Kubernetes, containerization, and orchestration

  • Scripting languages (Python, Shell)

  • Source control systems (Git, SVN)

  • CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, AWS CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, Maven)

  • Infrastructure as Code tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible)

  • Monitoring and logging tools (AppDynamics, Splunk, Nagios, Zabbix)

  • Web stack technologies and protocols (HTTP/S, TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, WebSockets, DNS, CDN)

  • Atlassian tools (JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence, Crucible)

• Experience with large-scale distributed systems and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and a passion for innovation

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a multicultural team

• A curious mindset and a commitment to continuous learning
