STAFF NURSE FP

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing care to patients in the critical care float pool.

• Assess patients’ conditions, and develop and document individualized care and discharge plans.

• Administer medications and other medical interventions as necessary.

• Supervise nursing attendants and other support staff in carrying out patient care activities.

• Ensure that all activities align with nursing standards and organizational protocols.

Education, Training & Experience:

• Required:

  • New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

  • Infection Control Training.

  • Minimum of 2 years of ICU RN experience.

  • Proficient in English communication skills.

  • Ability to utilize basic data entry and retrieval systems.

• Preferred:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Referral Bonuses:

• NYSNA members referring candidates for this position will receive a $3,500 bonus.

• Other associates referring a Registered Nurse (RN) will receive a $2,500 bonus.

• Candidates must hold or be eligible for a New York State RN license.

• Location: 111 East 210th Street, Bronx, NY (Moses Campus)

• Shift: Night Shift – 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

• Salary Range/Pay Rate: $68.82 per hour (Subject to change based on factors like experience, education, and shift differential).
