We are currently seeking highly motivated Band 5 nurses to join our friendly and forward-thinking Haematology inpatient team. Opportunities are available across the Derek Mitchell Unit, Davidson Ward, and Elf & Libra Ward.

Your Role & Responsibilities
As a Band 5 Staff Nurse, you will:

Deliver high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centred care

Manage and coordinate a group of patients from admission to discharge
-
Supervise and mentor junior staff and student nurses
-
Maintain clear, accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the MDT
-
Contribute to a safe and supportive care environment, reporting incidents as required
-
Participate in health promotion and patient/family education
-
Support change and improvement initiatives in clinical practice
-
Rotate through haematology departments to support professional development
What We’re Looking For

NMC Registered Nurse (Adult)

A passion for haematology or oncology nursing
-
Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
-
Commitment to continuous improvement and compassionate care

Willingness to work in a diverse, fast-paced clinical environment
