Job Responsibilities

  • Provide pharmaceutical care to customers, including accurately dispensing prescriptions, counseling patients on health and medication needs, and maintaining patient confidentiality.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest pharmaceutical knowledge and apply this expertise to guide others, ensuring best practices and customer-centric solutions.

  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders to identify business needs and implement effective processes, continuously monitoring progress and finding improvement opportunities.

  • Lead and mentor the pharmacy team on proper customer service practices, ensuring customer concerns are addressed and resolved according to company standards.

  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards, including HIPAA and billing procedures, and take action to maintain safety and operational quality.

  • Safeguard confidential patient information in line with company, state, and federal guidelines.

  • Administer immunizations and manage other health-related programs in compliance with Board of Pharmacy regulations.

  • Promote patient care safety, ensuring the team adheres to standard operating procedures and consistently delivers high-quality, patient-centered service.

  • Identify areas for improvement in patient safety and knowledge and implement action plans to enhance team performance and reduce risks.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or a PharmD degree, or an equivalent FPGE (NABP).

  • Pharmacy license (by job entry date).

  • Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program (such as APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, or State Pharmacy Association-sponsored).
