Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure full compliance with all federal and state pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies.

Accurately prepare, dispense, and document prescription medications, including processing third-party claims and maintaining appropriate inventory levels.

Provide professional counseling to patients and healthcare providers regarding medication usage, dosages, potential interactions, and side effects.

Actively participate in patient-centered care initiatives such as immunizations, Medication Therapy Management (MTM), and wellness programs.

Oversee daily pharmacy operations and ensure pharmacy staff adheres to company standards and regulatory requirements.

Mentor, train, and evaluate pharmacy interns, technicians, and associates, promoting professional growth and operational excellence.

Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment at all times.

Fulfill continuing education requirements to maintain licensure and stay current on best practices.

Support financial performance goals, including driving sales, maximizing gross profit, and managing inventory and supply expenses.

Ensure proper handling, documentation, and security of all controlled substances.
Minimum Qualifications:

Licensed and registered pharmacist in good standing in the state of practice.

Immunization certification (or willingness to complete certification).

Valid driver’s license required.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Participation in driver’s license monitoring is required.
Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (5-year degree).

Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and automated dispensing tools.

Strong verbal, written, and digital communication skills.

Proven leadership abilities and team management experience.

Capable of assigning, prioritizing, and evaluating team responsibilities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Physical Requirements and Equipment Used:

Tools include pharmacy computer systems, case cutters, marking guns, cash registers, and pill counters.
