Staff Pharmacist

Position Summary:

Walmart is hiring a Staff Pharmacist in Barnwell, SC to lead patient care operations, deliver expert pharmaceutical services, and support the community’s wellness needs. This role places you at the heart of healthcare delivery—dispensing medications, counseling patients, ensuring compliance, and driving clinical excellence in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment. You’ll serve as both a team leader and a trusted healthcare provider within your community.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide expert pharmaceutical care by accurately filling prescriptions and counseling patients

• Administer immunizations and wellness services in line with regulatory and Walmart standards

• Mentor pharmacy staff and uphold customer service standards

• Monitor inventory, loss prevention, and safety protocols

• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and corporate policies

• Lead and participate in community outreach programs and health events

• Analyze patient trends and support wellness initiatives aligned with local needs

• Contribute to quality improvement and compliance execution across pharmacy operations

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD (or FPGE from NABP)

• Active Pharmacy License (by job entry date)

• Completion of an ACPE-Accredited Immunization Training Program (e.g., APhA, state association, or school-based program)

Compensation & Benefits:

• Annual Salary Range: $98,000 – $172,000*
  *Prorated based on scheduled weekly hours
