Position Summary:
Walmart is seeking a highly motivated and patient-focused Staff Pharmacist to join our team in Aberdeen, NC. This role places you at the forefront of patient care, where you’ll use your clinical expertise to deliver compassionate service, ensure medication safety, and lead pharmacy operations. You will work to the top of your license in a fast-paced environment that encourages collaboration, compliance, and continuous learning.
What You’ll Do:

Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care by accurately dispensing prescriptions and counseling patients

Administer immunizations and health services in compliance with state and federal regulations

Guide and support pharmacy associates in customer service best practices

Maintain controlled substances documentation and confidentiality

Execute inventory control, medication storage, and loss prevention procedures

Lead outreach and community wellness initiatives such as health screenings and Wellness Days

Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Walmart policies, SOPs, and Board of Pharmacy standards

Contribute to process improvements and quality patient care outcomes

Use data and conversations to understand and meet local community health needs

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)

Active Pharmacy License (by job entry date)

Completion of an ACPE-accredited Immunization Training Program (e.g., APhA or state association)
Preferred Qualifications:

Strong leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills

Community or retail pharmacy experience

Bilingual (a plus, not required)

Hourly Wage Range: $47.12 – $82.69
