Responsibilities:

Lead high-impact projects and develop innovative solutions to enhance customer experience.

Oversee backend and cross-functional teams, ensuring the achievement of long-term goals while successfully executing short-term roadmaps.

Serve as a role model for engineering excellence and a customer-centric mindset.

Drive the development of large-scale features, from concept to launch.

Take ownership of critical systems and components, ensuring both their immediate functionality and long-term sustainability.

Foster collaboration across teams and functions, enabling smooth execution of cross-team initiatives while empowering team members through delegation and mentorship.

Conduct code and architecture reviews to maintain high code quality, facilitate knowledge sharing, and improve operational processes.

Write well-structured, well-tested, maintainable code that adheres to engineering best practices.

Share expertise through tech talks, mentoring, and promoting best practices across the team.
Experience:
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

5+ years of experience in software engineering or production infrastructure.

Expertise in designing, debugging, and managing fault-tolerant, highly available, large-scale distributed systems.

Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure.

Proficiency in working with databases, both relational (SQL) and NoSQL.

Experience leading end-to-end system development, from design to deployment.

Proven ability to guide teams in delivering large-scale projects and achieving strategic goals.
