Customer Sales & Profit

  • Oversee the overall OMNI customer experience in your store, ensuring visual and commercial alignment with store format, global guidelines, and regional strategies.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, delivering a positive representation of yourself and H&M during all customer interactions.
  • Set, analyze, and track sales and budget targets, creating actionable plans to maximize results.
  • Guarantee a personalized customer service approach, encouraging the team to engage customers, highlight fashion stories, and actively drive product sales.
  • Ensure teams actively promote our Customer Loyalty Program (Hello Member) and in-store sustainability initiatives.
  • Plan schedules according to budgeted hours and sales targets, aligning with commercial activities.
  • Ensure correct execution of fitting room and checkout routines, including transactions, returns, and exchanges.
  • Leverage knowledge of store strengths and opportunities to drive commercial initiatives, while staying informed on competitor activities.
  • Manage store maintenance efficiently to control costs.
  • Ensure administrative routines for both team management and store operations are performed accurately.

Fashion & Trend Awareness

  • Stay updated on the latest fashion trends, styles, competitor offerings, brands, influencers, and industry tendencies.
  • Ensure your team confidently shares fashion and product knowledge with customers during interactions.
  • Develop a strong understanding of your store’s local area, customer preferences, and fashion trends.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead all aspects of talent and performance management, including recruitment, onboarding, upskilling, and ongoing development of your team.
  • Conduct performance reviews and succession planning to meet business objectives.
  • Share your knowledge and expertise to elevate your team’s performance.
  • Work collaboratively with the Area team and store leadership, including Visual Merchandisers.
  • Foster clear communication and professionalism within your team.
  • Take responsibility for team scheduling and workforce planning.
  • Motivate and inspire through regular meetings and effective communication.
  • Ensure compliance with all procedures, routines, security, and legal regulations within the store.
  • Actively participate in onboarding, training programs, and other development opportunities relevant to your role.

Retail Operations & Commercial Execution

  • Ensure a clean, well-maintained sales floor and back-of-house area.
  • Oversee high-quality visual merchandising, ensuring garments are presented to company standards with excellent garment care.
  • Monitor stock levels and collaborate with relevant teams to optimize inventory.
  • Support and manage daily opening and closing store procedures.
  • Oversee the entire garment cycle—from delivery to floor presentation—adhering to best practices and leveraging available tools and technologies.
  • Maintain excellence in in-store OMNI services and technology (e.g., Instore Care App, Click & Collect, Smart Store).
  • Ensure consistent and effective pricing signage across the store, in alignment with both global and regional strategies to maintain a strong price perception.
  • Keep back-of-house areas organized and updated, including health and safety information and key communications.

  • Confident in coaching and driving performance, with strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Experienced in leadership roles, preferably within retail management and operations.
  • Skilled at working collaboratively and fostering team spirit.

Additional Information

  • Compensation: The expected base salary range is $59,505 – $66,944 annually.
  • EEOC Code: OFM
  • Status: Salary, Non-Exempt (Exempt for Top Volume stores)
