Role Overview

The Strategic Account Executive will drive revenue growth by developing strategic sales approaches, cultivating client relationships, and positioning SHI’s IT solutions portfolio. This role requires identifying opportunities, collaborating with internal teams and partners, and staying informed on industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Master SHI’s value proposition to exceed revenue and profit goals

  • Cultivate relationships with existing customers and establish new ones through targeted sales techniques (cold calling, meetings, networking)

  • Identify and develop opportunities in the sales pipeline to meet or exceed targets

  • Collaborate with internal support teams and external partners for joint-selling initiatives

  • Understand customers’ business objectives and provide tailored IT solutions

  • Communicate SHI’s products, solutions, and services effectively

  • Monitor industry competition and position SHI’s offerings to win new business

  • Build market awareness through participation in industry events and affiliations

  • Continuously stay updated on products, industry trends, and market conditions

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience

  • Minimum 10 years of field-based technology sales experience (VAR/IT solutions or OEM preferred)

  • Ability to travel to customer sites, SHI, partner, and industry events

  • Ability to obtain required sales or technical certifications within 90 days
