St Edmund’s College, Cambridge, is seeking a dynamic Student Events & Community Coordinator to lead and support meaningful, inclusive events that promote wellbeing and civic responsibility across our student body.

You’ll work closely with the Director of Student Wellbeing, students, and key college stakeholders to deliver engaging events that foster a sense of belonging and promote preventative wellbeing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate civic-focused events to enhance student experience and promote preventative wellbeing.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to plan, promote, and deliver internal wellbeing initiatives.

  • Build community connections, engaging students and staff in meaningful participation.

  • Provide administrative support across all events, from logistics to budgeting.

  • Monitor event performance using attendance data, demographics, and feedback to inform future planning.

  • Work to destigmatize wellbeing concerns through creative and inclusive programming.

  • Network with other colleges and wellbeing professionals to ensure best practices are followed.

Person Specification

Experience

  • Prior experience in event coordination or a similar role

  • Understanding of student engagement and inclusive service delivery

  • Experience in programme or project coordination (desirable)

  • Administrative experience in a fast-paced or academic environment (desirable)

Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Able to thrive under deadlines and adapt to pressure

  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

  • Tech-savvy, with the ability to use in-house systems

  • Creative and solutions-focused mindset, committed to process improvement

Qualifications

  • Wellbeing-related or programme management qualification (desirable)
