The University of Oxford is seeking a Student Funding Administrator to join our Student Fees and Funding team. In this important role, you’ll help manage funding and financial assistance schemes for over 25,000 students, ensuring those in financial difficulty receive the support they need.
Working in a collaborative and inclusive environment, you will assess applications, administer scholarships and bursaries, maintain financial records, and ensure accurate and accessible information is available for students, staff, and parents.
Key Responsibilities

Administer central student financial assistance schemes

Process applications and assess financial need

Prepare cases and recommendations for the University Financial Assistance Committee

Disburse grant and loan awards, ensuring compliance with regulations

Monitor fund balances and maintain detailed records

Update and manage student funding information on the University website

Respond to enquiries from students, families, and staff

Support students navigating funding and financial aid systems
About You
We’re looking for someone with:

Proven administrative and organisational skills

Strong written and verbal communication abilities

A good level of numeracy and attention to detail

Excellent IT skills

Empathy and understanding towards students needing assistance

A genuine interest in student funding and higher education policy
