Job Overview:
Verto Education is hiring Student Success Advisors (SSAs) to support students’ academic and personal growth during the Fall 2025 semester. SSAs are key mentors for 30–35 students each, building strong relationships that foster a safe, inclusive, and development-focused community.
Core Responsibilities:
Student Success (40%)

Monitor academic engagement and assist with learning strategies

Provide first-level academic support and facilitate escalations when necessary

Advise students on course withdrawals, academic policies, accommodations, and post-Verto planning
-
Coordinate with academic staff to ensure student success
Community Building & Communication (25%)
-
Maintain regular contact with students through office hours and events
-
Lead community programs like Care Team meals and student-led initiatives
-
Promote inclusion, Verto values, and healthy campus culture
-
Educate students on policies and ensure a welcoming study environment
Administrative Duties (20%)
-
Participate in meetings, trainings, and project work
-
Maintain accurate records via tools such as Salesforce, Canvas, Google Workspace, and others

Conduct required 1:1s with each assigned student

Ensure timely submission of reports and proper documentation
Duty & Crisis Response (15%)
-
Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to student emergencies
-
Handle conflict resolution, incident reporting, and crisis follow-ups

Make referrals to counseling, academic support, or health professionals as needed
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree required
-
1–3 years of experience mentoring or advising university students

Strong empathy, communication, and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to manage evolving priorities and work both independently and in a team

Valid passport and/or driver’s license required

Prior experience in a global or multicultural environment is a plus
