Position Overview
As a student teacher, you’ll engage in various tasks, including:
- Private tutoring
- Camp counseling
- Small-group elementary math classes
- Recitation for middle school math classes
You’ll begin with private tutoring or camp counseling. If all goes well, you’ll progress to teaching small-group classes or leading recitation sessions.

Training and Support
Proficiency in mathematics does not automatically translate to effective teaching skills. To ensure you meet and exceed the expectations of families, Dr. Xue will serve as a mentor and provide comprehensive training on instructing K-12 students. This includes:
- An initial training session before you begin your first teaching role.
- Ongoing coaching and support as needed throughout your teaching career with us.
Please note that teacher-training fees will apply.
Compensation:
- Hourly pay starts at $20, with potential raises of $5 per step, up to a maximum of $40, based on performance and experience.
