Penn Highlands Healthcare is a comprehensive health system in Pennsylvania, uniting the services of multiple hospitals including Penn Highlands Brookville, Clearfield, Connellsville, DuBois, Elk, Huntingdon, Mon Valley, Tyrone, and the newly established Penn Highlands State College (opening in 2024).
In addition to its hospitals, the system offers a broad spectrum of care through:
- Two home care agencies – Penn Highlands Healthcare at Home
- Senior living services – Penn Highlands WRC Senior Services
- Long-term care facilities – Penn Highlands Elk Pinecrest Manor & Penn Highlands Jefferson Manor
- Senior residential living – Elco Glen
Penn Highlands Healthcare is committed to providing local communities with top-tier healthcare by connecting residents with leading hospitals, physicians, nursing homes, home health agencies, and medical suppliers. Governance is locally driven, ensuring decisions are made by board members who live and work in the communities they serve.
Each facility is a major employer in its region, playing a vital role in both the economic and cultural fabric of the community. The organization’s vision is to be the preferred integrated health system, delivering exceptional quality, service, and patient outcomes.
While many high-quality services are available across local communities, advanced medical care is accessible through affiliated hospitals, demonstrating one of Penn Highlands Healthcare’s greatest strengths—comprehensive, accessible, and community-driven healthcare.
