Supply Chain Analyst – Hybrid Role
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join our Sterile Procedure Tray (SPT) Division at our Mundelein office. This hybrid position requires in-office presence on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
In this role, you will develop and manage projects related to demand planning, inventory management, procurement, and supply chain operations. You will be responsible for identifying business needs, analyzing challenges, and executing strategic project plans to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute supply chain and operational analyses, creating detailed project plans with measurable outcomes.
- Identify resource needs, assign tasks, and ensure project completion.
- Provide data-driven insights and reporting to support supply chain operations and financial audits.
- Develop and implement standardized reports for routine business metrics.
- Communicate key findings and recommend solutions for supply chain and operational challenges.
- Conduct ongoing data analysis to support business strategies, such as demand realignment and branch relocations.
- Prepare detailed documentation to bridge user requirements with system and database development teams.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Applied Statistics.
Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in operations, inventory management, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present to managers, clients, vendors, and senior leadership.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Access (query creation, data modification, reporting) and Microsoft Excel (charts, formulas, sorting, formatting).
- Strong analytical skills for financial calculations (discounts, interest, commissions, percentages).
- Ability to apply financial, accounting, and business problem-solving skills to operational challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in project management and data analysis.
- Familiarity with SAP Business Explorer (BEX), Web Focus, FoxPro, SAP, or Visual Basic.
- Professional certifications such as CPIM, CPA, or engineering license are a plus.
