The role:
We are looking for a Supply Planner to lead the planning and purchasing of raw materials and components to support finished goods production across multiple sites. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing supply plans on a quarterly, monthly, and weekly basis, ensuring a balance between stock levels, customer service, and inventory risks. You will oversee approximately 500 raw materials and 200 components, driving efficient and effective supply chain operations.
What you will do:
- Manage global warehouse replenishment via SAP by planning supply needs, creating requisitions, and coordinating intercompany transfers and vendor orders.
- Oversee the EDS safety stock replenishment process, generating bi-monthly STOs to Germany.
- Coordinate forward requirements with key vendors, manage supply plans, and place Purchase Orders for finished goods.
- Ensure timely provision of raw materials to vendors.
- Develop and maintain a detailed material status, identifying and resolving any shortages.
- Support product launches, ensuring stock availability across all stores while managing material status and addressing shortages.
- Ensure accurate booking of all STOs and PO receipts.
What you will need:
- University degree or equivalent experience; supply chain expertise is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing, ideally in cosmetics, toiletries, or FMCG.
- SAP experience in supply and production.
- Proven ability to liaise with key internal and external stakeholders, and strong relationship-building skills with external partners and internal teams (Project Management and Merchandising).
- Experience in demand and supply planning, both internally and externally, with a solid understanding of material planning in manufacturing.
- Ability to manage short-term objectives and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong MRP knowledge, including material, labor, and machine requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving and data analysis skills for decision-making and proposals.
- Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration to achieve results.
