Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

Intercompany Purchase Order Management

  • Oversee and manage forecasts and purchase orders (using SAP and SAP APO) for Intercompany finished goods, packaging, bulk components, and raw materials to support Sales, Demand Planning, Retail, E-Commerce, B2B, and Export customers.
  • Maintain and update a rolling 12+ month item-level forecast (ROFO) for each Lindt Subsidiary in SAP APO, reflecting time-phased supply requirements based on inventory levels and demand.
  • Ensure accuracy of PIRs and Source Lists in SAP for all Intercompany-imported items.
  • Ensure timely delivery of products to meet master schedule requirements, including the relabeling and repacking of imported products to meet customer-specific needs.
  • Collaborate closely with Brand Marketing and New Product teams to support the introduction of new imported items and collections.

Planning, Analysis, Forecasting & Reporting

  • Develop inventory strategies to balance high service levels with minimized excess, focusing on both Everyday and Seasonal imported items.
  • Maintain a comprehensive master list of all import items under the Intercompany team’s responsibility.
  • Coordinate with sourcing companies to ensure local item setup and data integrity across all systems.
  • Proactively identify constraints and implement solutions to mitigate production and capacity challenges, while tracking performance improvements through key metrics.
  • Optimize lead times within the Intercompany network to reduce supply chain costs and risks.
  • Support the annual budgeting process by collaborating with Demand Planning, Retail, and Finance teams; once finalized, upload budget data to SAP APO.
  • Provide monthly reporting on ROFO details and performance against budget.

Communication & Execution

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with global Intercompany suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with key partners (Marketing, D2C, Wholesale Sales, Production Planning, Demand Planning, and New Product/Packaging Development) to manage risks, solve problems, and seize opportunities.
  • Act as a key contact for handling irregularities and quality claims with Lindt Subsidiaries, ensuring prompt resolution while safeguarding supply plans.

Qualifications & Requirements

Skills & Competencies:

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, SAP, DevEx, and other relevant tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across diverse cultures and international teams.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • APICS or similar professional certification is a plus.
