Mount Holyoke College is seeking a Support Services Assistant/Driver to join our dynamic Facilities Management team, which supports over 2 million square feet of campus property and 60+ buildings. This full-time position is based within the Mail and Copy Centers, providing essential services to faculty, staff, and students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, sort, and deliver mail and packages (USPS, UPS, FedEx, internal mail).

  • Drive college-owned vehicles to deliver mail across campus (minimum two days/week).

  • Process outgoing mail using digital postage meter systems.

  • Assist in the Copy Center with print/copy job preparation and support.

  • Operate and navigate private carrier software to research and track shipments.

  • Handle and deliver hazardous materials with proper safety protocols.

  • Provide excellent customer service at the front service counter.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in mail services, delivery, or distribution.

  • Valid driver’s license required.

  • Excellent multitasking and organizational skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mail-related software.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

  • Primarily office-based with regular on-campus driving.

  • Frequent use of hands and feet for vehicle operation.

  • Occasional bending, lifting (up to 25 lbs), and repetitive motion tasks.
