Gloucester City Council is seeking a skilled Support Srv Engineer IT to join our team and help deliver exceptional IT support to our local government services. You’ll also work closely with the Support Services Manager to improve service delivery and meet help desk targets.
Key Responsibilities of Support Srv Engineer IT
As a Support Srv Engineer IT, you will:

Provide technical support to end users, both in person and remotely

Resolve IT-related issues and help improve service efficiency

Collaborate with the Support Services Manager to ensure SLA targets are met

Assist with software and hardware installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting

Create and maintain documentation, including FAQs and support guides
Qualifications for Support Srv Engineer IT
To succeed as a Support Srv Engineer IT, you’ll need:

At least 2 years of customer-facing experience

Relevant technology qualifications such as ITIL, NVQ, or BTec

Proficiency in Windows and mobile operating systems

Knowledge of ITIL and understanding cyber risks

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
