Trust Housing is excited to offer a Supported Housing Worker role in Dumfries, where you’ll help our tenants maintain their independence while receiving essential support. As a Supported Housing Worker, you’ll assist with meal delivery, dining room support, and occasional kitchen duties. In return for your commitment, you’ll receive a competitive hourly rate of £13 and work 16.75 hours per week over three days on a rolling 4-week rota.  Key Responsibilities of a Supported Housing Worker

As a Supported Housing Worker, your key duties include:

  • Ensuring tenants receive personalized support based on their individual care plans

  • Assisting with meal delivery and supporting tenants in the dining room

  • Occasionally handling light kitchen duties

  • Promoting independence and providing emotional support

 Skills and Experience Required for Supported Housing Worker Role

To succeed as a Supported Housing Worker, we are looking for candidates with:

  • An appropriate qualification in Health & Social Care

  • Experience working with older people or vulnerable members of the community

  • The ability to understand and meet the needs of tenants

  • A compassionate and caring attitude
