Salary: $78,389 – $97,312 annually (commensurate with experience)

Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino Counties (PPOSBC) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Surgical Health Center Administrator to support the Director of Operations in overseeing clinical and administrative functions across the health center. This individual will help manage daily patient flow and lead a multidisciplinary team, ensuring that services are delivered with excellence, in alignment with organizational goals and patient volume expectations.

Key Responsibilities
-
Lead and oversee surgical and reproductive health services, as well as any additional service lines offered at the center.

Collaborate with the Medical Director and leadership team to align center operations with strategic objectives and performance targets.

Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient care, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Ensure adherence to internal protocols and external regulations, including CMS, OSHA, CLIA, PPFA, and Board of Nursing standards.

Supervise and support center staff across various roles; manage hiring, training, scheduling, performance, and team development.

Provide timely, constructive feedback to clinical teams and oversee customer service practices, including handling patient concerns and grievances.

Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to improve productivity and reduce costs while maintaining service quality.

Partner in developing and executing new initiatives to improve access, patient throughput, and health outcomes.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
-
3–5 years of experience in healthcare or clinical service settings.

Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role managing 15+ employees preferred.

Proven ability in budgeting, strategic planning, and employee development.
Skills:

Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.

Ability to collaborate across all levels of clinical and administrative staff.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems.

Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Valid CA driver’s license and proof of insurance for travel between sites.
Additional Considerations:

Experience in reproductive or primary healthcare, including abortion services, is highly preferred.
