Overview
Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino Counties is seeking a full-time Surgical Health Center Administrator to join our leadership team in San Bernardino. This role supports the Director of Operations in overseeing clinical services, directing multidisciplinary staff, and ensuring efficient and high-quality care delivery across health center operations. The Administrator will take a hands-on role in optimizing patient flow, ensuring compliance with internal policies, and meeting or exceeding patient volume and service goals.

Essential Responsibilities
-
Lead and manage reproductive health and abortion care services while supporting additional service offerings such as primary care.

Oversee clinical service delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals, care quality standards, and regulatory compliance.

Serve as the primary leader of the surgical center, collaborating closely with the Medical Director and Senior Director of Patient Services.

Drive operational improvements in clinic workflows, staff efficiency, and patient satisfaction.

Monitor care delivery and staff performance; provide coaching and continuous feedback.

Ensure excellent patient experience and resolve any concerns or grievances promptly.

Oversee financial performance, staffing, budgeting, and productivity to meet or exceed operational targets.

Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations (e.g., CMS, OSHA, CLIA).

Supervise a team of 15+ employees, including clinicians and administrative staff.

Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment, fostering professional growth and staff development.
Required Qualifications
-
Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Experience:
-
3–5 years in a healthcare setting, particularly in patient care or clinical services.

Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.

Experience managing 15+ employees preferred.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills.

Ability to motivate, mentor, and lead staff with a hands-on leadership style.

Budget management and healthcare compliance knowledge.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with electronic medical records preferred.
