We are currently hiring a talented and experienced Sushi Chef to join our team in East Quogue, New York. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in preparing various sushi rolls and traditional Japanese dishes. This is a full-time, on-site position offering competitive hourly pay and a professional work environment.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of sushi rolls (e.g., California roll, dragon roll, spicy tuna roll, etc.) with precision and efficiency

Handle and store raw fish and other ingredients according to food safety standards

Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work environment

Ensure high-quality presentation and consistency in every dish

Collaborate with kitchen staff and assist during high-volume periods

Create custom sushi rolls upon customer request
Required Experience & Skills

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sushi Chef with strong skills in roll preparation

In-depth knowledge of Japanese ingredients and sushi-making techniques

Excellent knife skills and confidence working with raw seafood

Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
